Gathy's resumé of elite designs includes One and Only at Reethi Rah in the Maldives; The Setai in South Beach; Chedi Muscat in Oman; Aman Resorts in Indonesia, India, and the South Pacific; the latest, Amanyara in the Turks & Caicos; and several new Aman destinations under construction in many other locations. In addition to receiving honors from such leading authorities as Esquire, Condé Nast Traveler, Travel+Leisure, Interior, Elle Decoration and being extensively covered in many books and publications, Gathy was inducted into Hospitality Design magazine's prestigious Platinum Circle in 2006.
